Ingredients
- 1 9" refrigerated pie crust
- 1 lb hot italian sausage - casing removed
- 1 lb chorizo sausage sliced thin
- 1 sm red onion peeled and sliced
- 1 jar roasted red pepper, drained and sliced
- pinch dry basil
- pinch dry oregano
- pepper
- 1-1/2 C grated mozzarella cheese
- 3 eggs
- 1/3 C whole milk

Preparation
Step 1
preheat oven 425
prick bottom pie crust and cook 7 min.
remove crust from oven, pierce any bubbles that form. return to oven until crust is golden brown. remove and slightly cool.
cook sausage in large saute pan. add peppers, onions, herbs and cook through stirring occasionally. spoon sausage mixture into tart shell, cover mixture with mozzarella cheese.
combine eggs and milk in bowl with whisk. pour egg mixture over sausage/cheese.
cook in oven until egg mixture sets about 25 min. remove and cool.
