Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 yellow onion chopped
- 50 ounces Challah torn into 1 inch pieces
- 2 carrots chopped
- 4 stalks celery chopped
- 4 eggs
- 30 ounces of chicken broth
- 1 granny smith apple diced (optional)
- 1 /2 cup raisin (optional)
- Poultry seasoning to taste
- Garlic Salt /garlic powder to taste

Preparation
Step 1
Heat the oil in the skillet and cook and stir the onions until translucent about 10 minutes. Set them aside to cool.
Preheat the oven to 350. Grease a 9x13 inch glass baking dish.
fill bowl with warm water and soak the Challah one slice at a time. Gentle squeeze out the excess water and place the challah in a large bowl. Mix in the cooked onions,carrots,celery,apples and raisins , then mix in eggs. Salt and pepper to taste.
Spread stuffing in prepared pan, cover with foil and bake in preheated oven until cooked through about 1 hour.
