Ingredients

  • 1 cake yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups lukewarm water
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1/2 cut finely chopped onion
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • oil
  • dried rosemary

Preparation

Step 1

Add yeast and sugar to lukewarm water and stir to dissolve yeast. Add flour, salt and onion. Knead until smooth. Place dough in oiled bowl and let rise until doubled; punch down. Flatten to thickness of 1 inch on oiled cookie sheet. Oil top and let it rise until doubled in size. Sprinkle top of loaf with salt and rosemary. Bake in preheated 400 Degree F. oven for 20 to 25 minutes (depending on size) or until golden brown. Serve sliced.
