Ingredients
- 3 heads belgian endive
- 2 cps torn boston lettuce
- 2 cups torn curly leaf lettuce
- 2 cups torn iceberg lettuce
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 3 Tbsp water
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp dry mustard
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 6 walnut halves, toasted and coarsely chopped

Step 1
Peel leaves from core of Belgian endive. Wash leaves, and pat dry with paper towels. Line a medium platter with leaves; set aside. Combine boston lettuce, curly leaf lettuce, and iceberg lettuce in a large bowl; toss well. Arrange lettuce mixture in center of endive-lined platter. Combine vinegar and next 5 ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat, and add walnuts. Spoon vinegar mixture evenly over salad, and serve immediately.
