Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp cream of tartar
  • Rolling
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

1. Cream butter and sugar with mixer on high speed. Add egg & vanilla. Beat until smooth.

2. Combine flour, salt, baking soda, and cream of tartar. Add to wet ingredients and mix well.

3. Let dough rest for one hour in refrigerator.

4. Take about 2 1/2 tsp of dough and roll into a ball. Roll in cinnamon and sugar mixture. Press onto a ungreased cookie sheet.

5. Bake at 300 F for about 12 to 14 minutes.
