Ingredients

  • Chicken rub:
  • 1 large Onion, chopped
  • 3 lbs chicken cutlets, cut into little strips
  • 2 pkgs 5"x5" square puff pastry dough, defrosted
  • 2 tsp Oregano
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 2 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 4 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • Sauce:
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1 cup Ketchup
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 cup Duck Sauce
  • 2 tsp Mustard
  • 2 tsp Lemon Juice
  • 2 tsp Onion Soup Mix
  • 2 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
  • 2 Eggs, beaten
  • French Friend Onions

Preparation

Step 1

In a small pot combine sauce ingredients and let simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Mix together chicken rub ingredients in a ziploc bag. Add chicken and marinate for 30 minutes
Saute chopped onion. Remove onion and add chicken strips. cook for 10 minutes over medium flame. Return onions and mix with chicken. Pour half the sauce into chicken mixture and allow to cool.
In greased muffin tin place a square of dough in each cup. Fill with chicken mixture and bring corners together. Tightly pinch closed.
Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle onion topping on top.
Bake @ 350 for 30 minutes.
