Salted Caramel Kiss Cookie

Ingredients
- 14 TBSP salted butter
- 1 3/4 cup light brown sugar
- 2 cups plus 2 TBSP flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp baling powder
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1 egg + 1 egg yolk
- 1 1/2 TBSP vanilla
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 24 choc caramel kisses or rolos
- flaked sea salt for sprinkling

Step 1
Preheat 350 and line cookie sheet w/ parchment paper
heat butter in skillet until melted; continue cookie until becomes a golden brown color; keep swirling pan- let cool for 15 min
Whisk flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt in separate bowl
when butter is cooled. mic 1 3/4 cup light brown sugar and browned butter with mixer until no lumps
Add egg, yolk and vanilla, mix 30 sec
Slowly add flour mixture on med until incorporated
combine remaining 1/4 cup brown sugar and 1/4 cup sugar in bowl
Roll cookie dough into 2 in balls and then roll in sugar mixture
PLace on sheet 2 in apart; Bake approx 12 min until edges begin to brown
As soon as the cookies come out- place candy in them; sprinkle with salt
To prevent spreading of cookie- chill an hour before baking
