Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup crushed round buttery crackers
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 each egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • SAUCE
  • 1 can 8oz crushed pineapple in heavy syrup, undrained
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch

Preparation

Step 1

HEAT oven to 350. In large bowl, combine all meat loaf ingredients and mix well. In ungreased 9x4 loaf pan form the mixture. Bake at 350 for 45 min.

IN small saucepan, combine all sauce ingredients; mix well. Cook over medium heat until mixture boils and thickens, stirring constantly. Spread on top of meat loaf; bake an additional 15 to 20 min or until meat loaf is no longer pink. Let stand 5 min before slicing.
