Easy Spicy Saute Spinach Sautéed with Red Pepper and Tobasco 1 Picture

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup onion
  • 1 tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon tobasco
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 4 bunches flat-leaf spinach (stemmed) or baby spinach
  • Kosher salt, freshly ground pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high
heat. Add onion, chiles, garlic. Cook 1 min, stirring often,
until garlic begins to brown, about 1 minute. Add spinach
to skillet by the handful, allowing it to wilt
between additions then add tobasco. Cook, tossing often,
until spinach is tender, 5-8 minutes. Season
with salt and pepper.
