  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup butter or margarine (soft)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (soft)

Step 1

Mix flour and salt and set aside.

Mix butter and cream cheese until fluffy-blend in flour. Chil for several hours. Roll and sprinkle with confection sugar, cut and fill. (hold with toothpicks) Fill with nuts and honey (or nuts and maple syrup), almond paste,or preserves.

Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes.

***refrigerate dough over night.
