Ice Cream Pizza
By srumbel
The best thing about this recipe — besides how tasty it is — is how easy it is to make. And, like many recipes we feature here, it’s also highly customizable. You can use chocolate chip cookie dough for the “crust” or you can change it up by using sugar cookie dough or peanut butter cookie dough. We topped our crust with All Natural Vanilla Ice Cream, but you can use pretty much any ice cream flavor you’d like. As for the toppings, that’s also entirely up to you!

Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 350°F. Spray round pizza pan, pie tin or spring form cheesecake pan with cooking spray. (We used a spring form cheesecake pan, which made it very easy to remove the cookie pizza from the pan.)
Press cookie dough into pan (approximately a quarter inch thick) and create a lip around the edges to form a crust. Bake 10 to 14 minutes or until light golden brown. Cookie dough may rise during cooking. If it does, press the center part of the pizza crust down with a spatula, leaving the lip for the crust around the edges. Place cookie in the freezer or refrigerator to cool.
After cookie crust has cooled, spread softened ice cream onto pizza. Top with desired toppings and place pizza in the freezer to harden (approximately 30 minutes).
