  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 3/4 cups water
  • 1 tsp lemon rind
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp butter

Preparation

Step 1

Combine the sugar, cornstarch, salt, and water. Bring to the boil and let bubble gently for about 15 minutes. Just before serving add the lemon rind and juice and butter.
