Ingredients
- 2 quarts water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 (16 ounce) package elbow macaroni ( I only used about 3/4 of it.
- 1 (10 3/4 once) can mushroom soup
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 3 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 ( 4ounce) can sliced mushrooms drained
- 1 (4 ounce) jar diced pimento, drained
- 3/4 cup crushed round buttery crackers
- 2 tablespoons butter melted

Preparation
Step 1
Boil macaroni until tender, drain.
Combine macaroni, soup, mayonnaise, cheese and mushrooms. Add pimentos.
Spoon into casserole ( greased)
Combine cracker crumbs with butter and sprinkle over maccaroni mixture.
Bake 300 degrees F. for 3 minutes or until heated through.
Optional -- You can add green pepper to taste, smoked sausage and onion to taste. I put in 2 cups chopped cooked chicken and one sauteed chopped green pepper.
