Chop onions and fry in butter. Cook potatoes and mash. Add cheese. Pour 1/2 butter and onion mixture in potatoes with cheese. Cook noodles and drain. Grease a 9 x 13 inch oblong pan and add a little milk to prevent sticking. Cut noodles and layer with potato mixture. Pour remaining 1/2 of butter and onion mixture on top layer of lasagna noodles. Cover with foil. Bake 50 to 60 minutes at 350 degrees.

- 8 oz. mild cheddar cheese, shredded
