Ingredients
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1-2 Tbsp. Chili-Garlic sauce
- 1 Tbsp. grated fresh ginger
- 1 tea. Chinese 5 spice
- salt andpepper
- 2 1/2 lbs. pork shoulder, trimmed of excess fat, cut into 2" pieces
- 1 cup long grain white rice
- 1 med. head bok choy, thin sliced
- 2 scallions

Step 1
In slow cooker, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, chili garlic sauce, ginger, 5 spice, 1/2 tea. salt and 1/4 tea. pepper. Add pork and toss to coat. Cook high 4-5 hours or low 7-8 hours.
25 minutes before serving cook rice.
Skim off any fat from pork. Gently fold bok choy into pork and cook, covered, until heated through (5 min.)
Serve with rice, sprinkle with scallions
