Ingredients
- 3 or 4 cloves minced garlic
- 12 ounce package med spicy saussage
- 1/2 medium onion
- 4 portabella mushrooms
- 12 bacon strips halved
- Hot sauce to taste
- SmokedSwiss cheese cut in thin strips to fit jalapenos

Step 1
Wash peppers, remove stems. Cut a slit in each jalapeno and remove seeds. Rinse and pat dry. Set aside.
Cook sausage, onion and mushroom in skillet and drain well. Stuff sausage in each pepper following with a dash of (hot sauce in each one Optional). Put thin strip of smoked swiss cheese in each one! Wrap 1/2 piece of bacon around each pepper and secure with a toothpick. Grill 8 inches from heat until bacon is crisp. Turn pepper throughout cooking to avoid burning.
