Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 inch thick slices ciabatta bread
  • 12 thin slices prosciutto
  • 1 lb. mozzarella, cut in thin slices
  • 2 cans diced tomatoes with garlic
  • 3 tbs butter
  • 6 sage leaves
  • black pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees

Place slices of ciabatta on parchment lined baking sheets. Bake until crisp & golden around edges (8 min.). Remove bread and place proscuitto slices, tomatoes and mozzarella on toast and return to oven to melt cheese (8 min).

Combine butter and sage in small saucepan. Cook until melted and starting to get brown spots and sage is crisp (5 min).

Drizzle on crostini and serve.
