Judy's Derby Pie

Ingredients

• Two 10”, unbaked pie shells
• 8 Eggs
• 1 &1/2 c. White sugar
• 1/2 c. Light brown sugar
• 2 T. Flour, all purpose
• 2 c. White corn syrup
• 1/2 lb. Butter, melted
• 1 t. Vanilla
• 2 T. Bourbon or more!
• 2 c. Pecans, chopped
• 2 c. Semi-sweet chocolate chips (good ones)

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350° & line each pie shell with 1c. each pecans & chocolate chips Cream the eggs & sugar well & add the syrup, vanilla, bourbon , & butter & mix again well. Divide the mixture equally & pour over the pecans & chocolate chips. Bake for 45 minutes. Cool before serving & top with whipped cream.
