Ingredients

• 8 ounces (5 shots) of tequila
• 12 ounces of a Margarita mix worthy of its name
• 2 ounces lime juice
• 3 ounces (2 shots) of Triple Sec
• A bottle of fruity red wine, err on the lighter side
• Salt

Preparation

Step 1

- Pour your red wine into ice cube trays and let freeze. You should make enough wine-cubes to fill your standard sized blender and then some. What’s cooler than being cool? Ice cold.
- Fill your blender with red wine ice cubes.
- Add tequila, margarita mix, lime juice and triple sec to blender.
- Put the lid on the top of the blender. This is an important step.
- Blend until you’ve reached the consistency your heart desires.
- Dip the top of your glass in the margarita and dip in salt to rim glass.
- Sip, savor and chill out.
- Repeat.
