Dreamsicle Cake Balls

Ingredients

• 1 box vanilla cake mix or basic vanilla cake
• 1 cup orange soda
• 1 (6oz) pkg orange flavored gelatin
• 1/2 to 3/4 cup basic vanilla icing or store bought vanilla icing
• 24 oz white chocolate for coating
• 1/2 about 1/2 cup orange sugar crystals for garnish

Preparation

Step 1

1. Mix together the ingredinets for making a vanilla cake, substituting the orange soda for the water, if using the box version, or for the milk, if making the cake from scratch. After the ingredinets are fully combined, stir int he orange gelatin.

2. Follow the instructions for baking the cake.

3. While the cake is cooling, prepare the icing or open your store bought icing.

4. After the cake has cooled, crumble, mix with the icing, form the balls and freeze for at least 2 hours.

5. After the cake balls are dipped in white chocolate, sprinkle them with the sugar cyrstlas or place a gummy sugared orange slice in teh white chocolate cap.
