Southern Red Velvet Cake Balls

Ingredients

• 1 box chocolate cake mix or basic chocolate cake
• 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
• 1 (1oz) bottle red food coloring
• 1/2 to 3/4 cup basic cream cheese icing or store bought cream cheese icing
• 24 oz white chocoalte, for coating
• 1/2 about 1/2 cup red sprinkles, for decoration

Preparation

Step 1

1. Mix together the ingredients for making a chocolate cake. After the ingredients are fully combined, stir int he cocoa and red food coloring.

2. Follow instructions for baking the cake.

3. While the cake is cooling, prepare the cream cheese icing or open your store bought icing.

4. After the cake has cooled, follow the cake ball method instructions.

5. After the cake balls are dipped in white chocolate, drizzle them with fine lines. Do one at a time and sprinkle with the red sprinkles.
