Ingredients

  • 3/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup margarine or butter, softened
  • 1/4 Cup light molasses
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon allspice
  • 3 Cups cereal flakes with raisins and almonds

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 350F. Lightly grease cookie sheets. In large bowl, beat sugar and margarine until light and fluffy. Add molasses, vanilla and egg; blend well. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off. Stir in flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice; mix well. Fold in cereal. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto prepared cookie sheets. Bake at 350F for 8 to 12 minutes or until light golden brown. Immediately remove from cookie sheets. 3 dozen cookies
