  • 1 box vanilla cake mix or basic vanilla cake
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 ripe medium bananas, mashed (about 1 cup)
  • 1 (8oz) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 cup finely chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup basic vanilla icing or store bought vanilla icing
  • 24 oz white chocolate for coating
  • 1/2 About 1/2 cup sugared or dried pienapples cut into small pieces for garnish

Step 1

1. Mix together the ingredients for making a vanilla cake. After the ingredients are fully combined, stir in the cinnamon, bananas, pineapple, and pecans.

2. Follow the instructions for baking the cake.

3. While the cake is cooling, prepare the icing or open your store bought icing.

4. After the cake has cooled, follow the cake ball method instructions. Note that this recipe calls for less icing than normal because the cake itself is already to rich and moist.

5. After the cake balls are dippe din white chocolate, place a piece of sugared or dried pineapple in the white chocolate cap.
