- 1 1/4 cup Sugar
- 3 Tblsp. Flour or Cornstarch
- 3 Egg Yolks
- 1 cup Milk (evaporated milk)
- 1/2 stick Butter
- 1 cup Coconut
- 1 tsp. Vanilla

Step 1
Mix flour, sugar and milk together. Gradually add eggs, beaten. Put in double boiler. Stir constantly. Melt butter in mixture. Cook until thick. Add coconut. Leave some for the top of meringue. Add vanilla.
Make meringue. Put in cream of tartar and 1 cup of Sugar. Pour into baked pie shell and bake until meringue is brown.
