Ingredients
- Brown Butter Frosting:
- 1 tblsp. vinegar
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp.salt
- 2/3 cup chopped nuts
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 cup powdered sugar
- 2-4 tblsp. boiling water

Step 1
Pour the vinegar into the milk and let it sit. Cream the sugar and butter well. Add the eggs and the vanilla. Add presifted dry ingredients alternately with the milk.
Add the nuts. Drop onto cookie sheets and bake@350 10-12 minutes. Cool before frosting.
Brown Butter Frosting
Heat the butter till a golden brown in color. Remove from heat and add powdered sugar and enough water to make a nice consistency. Frost cool cookies.
