- 2 1/3 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 1/3 cup karo
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 2 egg whites
- 1 tsp. vanilla

Step 1
In a saucepan put the sugar, water, karo, and salt then bring it to a boil. Continue cooking to a hard ball stage 260. Beat the egg whites and vanilla till stiff, then drizzle in the hot syrup and beat it till stiff but still workable. Pour into a greased pan to set. Then cut into squares.
