Date Nut Bread

Fall favorite cake

Ingredients

• Glaze:
• 1 pkg. pitted dates
• 2 cups boiling water
• 2 tsp. soda
• 1/2 cup butter
• 2 cups sugar
• 2 eggs
• 4 cups flour
• 1 tsp. salt
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 1 cup chopped nuts
• 2 cups Powdered sugar
• 3 tblsp. milk

Preparation

Step 1

{ut the boiling water over soda and dates in a bowl. Creme sugar and butter then add eggs. Add dry ingredients, then add dates and water. Pour into a loaf pan and bake @350 for 45 minutes
