Ingredients
- Glaze:
- 1 cup shortening
- 2 cups sugar
- 5 eggs
- 2 cups raisins
- 2 cups chopped walnuts
- 3 1/2 cups flour
- 2 tsp. soda
- 3 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. ground cloves
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 2 cups hot applesauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 3 tblsp. milk

Preparation
Step 1
Cream shortening and sugar. Add the eggs and beat well. Meanwhile sift the dry ingredients and heat applesauce. Add these alternately while the mixer runs on low. Add raisins and nuts. Pour into a greased bundt pan. Bake@ 350 for about 1 hour. Frost with powdered sugar glaze.
