Ingredients
- Topping:
- 1 cup Fresh Cranberries, chopped
- 1 1/4 cups plus, 2 Tbsp Sugar
- 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 Tbsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 cup Sweet Cream Butter, cold
- 1 Egg, beaten
- 1 cup Orange Juice
- 1/4 cup Sweet Cream Butter, melted
- 1/4 cup Sugar

Step 1
In a small bowl, combine cranberries and 2 Tbsp sugar. Set aside. In 3-qt. mixing bowl, combine flour, remaining 1 ¼ cups sugar, baking powder and salt. Cut in butter until mixture resembles small peas. Combine egg and orange juice; pour all into dry mixture. Mix just until ingredients are moistened (10 to 12 strokes). Stir in cranberry-sugar mixture just until blended. Spoon into greased muffing tins, about 2/3 full. Bake at 400°for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool. Dip top of each muffin in melted butter, then in sugar.
