  • Dreamfield lasagna
  • 3 lbs ricotta
  • 1 egg yolk
  • black pepper
  • dry parsley flakes
  • pinch of sugar
  • small amount locatelli cheese
  • sauce

Preparation

Step 1

in a large pot cook however many layers will fit in pyrex dish. 9x11. drain and set aside. cool.

mix ricotta with egg yolk, pepper, sprinkle parsley flakes, sugar and cheese. mix and refrigerate.

in a baking dish, pour small amount of sauce on bottom and spread all over. Put first layer of lasagna, cover bottom and trim side edges.

put a layer of ricotta on noodles. pour gravy all over, spread. sprinkle with both cheeses.

repeat this until you end up with top layer. you should have 3 layers of noodles and 2 of cheese. Top layer with gravy. sprinkle cheese on top.

bake 350 for half to one hour.

remove from oven. let set for a good 20-25 minutes. it will still be warm but easy to slice.
