Ingredients

• 2 1/4 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 large egg
• 1 cup Peanut M&M's
• 1/2 cup plain M&M's

Preparation

Step 1

PREHEAT oven to 350.

SIFT flour, soda, powder and salt into medium mixing bowl and set aside.

CREAM the butter and the sugars with an electric mixer. Add vanilla and egg and mix on medium speed. Add the flour mixture and mix on low speed. Using a large spoon add the M&M's. Use about 2 teaspoons for each cookie for 4 inch cookies and roll into a ball. Place on baking sheet 2 inches apart. Bake for 20 minutes until golden brown.
