Ingredients

  • 8 ounces (1/2 loaf) Italian Bread, cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 8 ounces ham, cubed (I’ve substituted cook sausage and it’s yummy)
  • 1 c. fresh sliced mushrooms
  • 1 c. bell pepper, chopped (any color)
  • 1/2 c. green onions, sliced
  • 2 c. (8 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 10 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 3 c. milk
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 1/4 t. pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Layer the first section of ingredients in a greased 9x13 pan. Whisk together the eggs, milk, and seasonings until well blended. Slowly pour over the layered ingredients. Cover with foil and refrigerate over night. Remove foil and bake at 350 for 1 hour or until set and top is golden brown. Cut into 12 squares.
