Preparation

Step 1

Pink is easy, Red is very tough to get deep red. If using Beets, use juice from canned beets or boiling beets or juicing raw beets. If using red fruit, pulverize fruit in food processor and strain through cheesecloth.

Orange. Juice the carrots or you can use natural carrot juice

Yellow. Slowly add either Saffron or Turmeric. A little goes a LONG way. Taste along the way.

Green. Liquid Chlorophyll can be used or Spinach. Either juice the spinach or use the whole leaf.

Purple. Use Red Cabbage. Cut and boil in just enough water to get a very dark and concentrated water. Use for purple. *Make sure the water is as concentrated as possible.

Blue. Cook red cabbage as above. Then slowly stir in baking soda, a little bit at a time. Will turn water blue. *Make sure that the water is as concentrated as possible.
