Ingredients
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 ⁄4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups confectioners’ sugar
- 2 cups crisp rice cereal, such as Rice Krispies
- 1 pound chocolate-flavored candy coating
- 1 ⁄4 cup finely chopped roasted salted peanuts

Preparation
Step 1
In a large bowl, beat peanut butter and butter at medium speed with an electric mixer until smooth. Gradually beat in confectioners’ sugar; stir in cereal. Roll mixture into 1-inch balls. (Refrigerate to prevent mixture from sticking to hands, if needed.)
Line a large baking sheet with wax paper. Melt candy coating according to package directions. Using 2 forks, dip each ball in melted candy coating, letting excess drip off. Place on prepared pans; sprinkle with peanuts. Let stand until coating is firm, approximately 20 minutes. Gently remove from wax paper. Store in an airtight container up to 1 week.
