Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cup flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 c butter
- 1/4 c sugar
- 3/4 c firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 pkg (3 oz) vanilla instant pudding
- 2 eggs
- 12 oz chocolate chips
- 1 c nuts, chopped

Preparation
Step 1
Mix flour with baking soda in separate bowl. Combine butter, sugar, vanilla and pudding mix in large bowl. Beat until smooth and creamy. Beat in eggs.
Gradually add flour mixture, then stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by teaspoonful onto ungreased baking sheet.
Bake at 375 for 8 to 10 minutes.
For bar cookies:
Prepare dough as directed. Spread on bottom of 9x13 inch pan sprayed with cooking spray. Bake 375 for 20-25 minutes. Cool before cutting into bars. Makes 24 servings
