- 6 Tbsp zahtar
- 2 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds
- 10 oz Lebni cheese
- 6 Tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
- Herb Oil
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1 Tbsp chopped fresh garlic
- 2 cups softly packed fresh herb leaves
- (equal parts basil, cilantro, mint)
- 1 Tbsp black pepper
- 1 Tbsp coarse salt
- Garnish
- Diced tomatoes
- Snipped chives
- 4 Pieces naan

Preparation
Step 1
1. Combine zahtar and sesame seeds and a pinch of salt.
4. Sprinkle with zahtar mixture evenly over Lebni and flatbread. Drizzle extra-virgin olive oil over all. Top with tomatoes and chives.
5. Herb Oil Naan: Blend all ingredients except flatbread until smooth like a pesto. Brush both sides of the naan and let marinate for several hours. Griddle or grill bread evenly on both sides. Cut bread into wedges before serving.
6. For the zahtar I use three parts zatar to 1 part toasted garam masala for added depth of flavor.
You can easily make the lebni with a little room in the refrigerator and 48 hours of time to hang the cheese.
