White Chocolate Red Velvet Oreo Blondies

This white chocolate brownie or blondie, if you prefer, with red velvet Oreos with a lovely white chocolate frosting for even more white chocolate goodness. FIRST TIME making this.........I would definitely make a different frosting next time as this one too sweet for my tastes.

  • 1 C butter
  • 1/2 C white chocolate chips
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 C sugar
  • 1 1/3 C flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • Frosting
  • 1/2 C butter
  • 3-4 oz cream cheese
  • 1/3 C white chocolate chips
  • 2 C powdered sugar
  • 2 Tbsp whipping cream or whole milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
For the brownie part melt your white chocolate and butter either in the microwave or a double boiler. Cool.
Whisk eggs and then add in sugar, beating until lemony yellow/frothy. Add chocolate mixture, blending well, then add flour and vanilla.
Put 3/4 into a greased 9 x 13 pan top with whole red velvet Oreos, 4 across each row. Drizzle remaining batter on top.
Bake for 20-25 minutes. Do NOT overbake.
Frosting:
Melt Cream and white chocolate in microwave or double boiler. Beat cream cheese until smooth, then add butter and beat again until fluffy.
Remove chocolate from heat. When cool, beat into butter mixture, then slowly add powdered sugar and beat until fluffy.
Frost brownies. Top with crushed red velvet oreos.
