Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced or pressed, optional
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 2 cups shredded Monterey Jack
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 4 large wheat flour tortillas
- oil for frying
- jalapenos
- sour cream

Preparation
Step 1
Brown together ground beef, onion, and garlic.
Add salt and chili powder.
Place 1/2 cup of the ground beef, 1/2 cup cheese and 1/2 cup tomatoes onto one half of each tortilla. Fold other half over filling, pressing it down to remove any air pockets.
Pour oil into large skillet to 1/4 inch depth.
Place tortillas into pan. Saute until golden on each side.
Remove from pan to paper towel to drain
Serve with sour cream.
