Ingredients
- 2-3 stalks of celery, chopped
- 1 large onion, chopped
- Ham bone with Ham
- Large package of California blend veggies
- quart of 1/2 and 1/2 (can use fat free)
- 1/2 stick of butter
- salt and pepper to taste
- Parsley
- Water

Preparation
Step 1
Place onion, celery and ham bone in large soup pan. Cover ingredients with water and cook until onion and celery are tender. remove bone and place ham back into soup. Add California veggies and cook until tender. Add 1/2 and 1/2 (saving about 1 C.) Mix the reserved 1/2 and 1/2 with flour to thicken soup. Add thickening when soup comes to a near boil. Be careful not to let the soup boil, it can scorch easily. You may also add cheese if you so choose.
