Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. tomatoes
- cilantro
- Serrano chilies
- 1 clove garlic
- additional diced tomatoes
- 1 lime
- 1 tsp. salt
- green onions, sliced (white & green parts)

Preparation
Step 1
Fine chop Serrano chilies and a clove of garlic in processor. Add 1/2# quartered tomatoes and a handful of cilantro. Pluse 7-8 times to coarse chop. Put into a bowl.
(THIS IS THE BACKGROUND FLAVOR TO THE FRESH SALSA)
Add diced fresh tomatoes
1 Tbsp. fresh squeezed lime juice
1 tsp.salt
Stir together and add sliced green onions, white & green parts.
