Streusel Coffee Cake by Bisquick

Everyone needs a classic coffee cake recipe. Simple to make and a treat to eat, this is it!

Ingredients
- Cinnamon Streusel
- 2/3 cup Original Bisquick® mix
- 2/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 4 tablespoons firm butter or margarine
- Coffee Cake
- 2 cups Original Bisquick® mix
- 2/3 cup milk or water
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 egg

Step 1
1 Heat oven to 375°F. Grease 9-inch round pan.
In small bowl, stir streusel ingredients until crumbly; set aside.
2. In medium bowl, mix coffee cake ingredients until blended.
Spread half batter in pan, sprinkle with half the streusel; spread remaing batter on top and add remaing struesel.
3. Bake 18 to 22 minutes or until golden brown.
Expert Tips:
This coffee cake is best served warm, but you can microwave a piece for 10 to 15 seconds on High to bring back that fresh-from-the-oven taste.
