- 6 large pears
- 1 bottle Beaujolaise wine
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1-1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 whole clove
- 2 slices orange
- 2 slices lemon
- 5 black peppercorns

Step 1
Peel the pears leaving the stems on and cook them in the Beaujolais syrup made with the rest of the ingredients,
Takes 15 minutes to cook. Serve cold.
