Ingredients
- 8 ounces cleaned, peeled shrimp
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 2 Tbsps chopped green pepper
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
- 1/2 can (3 oz) tomato paste
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp basil
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- Cooked pasta

Preparation
Step 1
Cook onion, green pepper and garlic in hot oil until tender.
Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, water and seasonings. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add shrimp. Cover and simmer for about 3 minutes longer or until shrimp is tender.
Serve over cooked pasta.
