Ingredients

1 pkg or tablespoon yeast
1 1/2 c. warm water
1 tbsp. honey
5 to 5 1/2 c. flour

Preparation

Step 1

Dissolve yeast in warm water; add honey. Add flour. Mix. Knead 10 minutes. Cut into 32 pieces and roll into 10-inch ropes. Put on greased cookie sheets. Let rise 15 minutes. Brush with butter, sprinkle with garlic or onion salt. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Makes at least 32 bread sticks.
