- 1 1/4 lb rhubarb
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 litre vodka

Step 1
Chop rhubarb into 1/2" pieces and put in 2 mason jars with 3/4 sugar in each (though I used a large jar with a really good seal I got at The Container Store and put all sugar and rhubarb in it) Shake well Add half(or all) vodka (DON'T use cheap vodka!) Close jar and put in fridge Shake often (every few days) After 6 weeks it's ready! Strain and put in clean jar or bottle
I like it over rocks with a sqeezed slice of lime! Enjoy on sunny deck or patio! I used fresh rhubarb but now I know I want another batch and rhubarb season is over...I may have to try frozen."
