- 3 cups sugar
- 3/4 cup butter or margarine
- 1 (5oz) can evaporated milk
- 1 (12oz) bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 4 cups mini marshmallows
- 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla

Step 1
grease a 10x14 pan.
bring sugar, butter, and milk to full rolling boil in 3 quart sauce pan, stirring constantly until thermometer reads 245 degrees or firm ball. remove from heat.
add chips and marshmallows, stirring until fully melted. add nuts and vanilla, mixing well.
pour into prepared pan, spreading until bottom is fully covered. cool completely, turn out of pan and cut into squares.
