Ingredients
- 1/2 lb fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
- 2 large oranges, peeled and cut into chunks
- 2 kiwi fruits, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 TBS cognac
- 2 TBS water
- 1/4 cup sugar
- Whipped cream for topping

Preparation
Step 1
1. Combine fruit in a bowl and toss with cognac. Cover and refrigerate. Over time the fruit will soften in the cognac.
2. In a small saucepan, combine water, sugar, and vanilla extract. Heat to create a syrup, stirring constantly. When the sugar is fully dissolved, set aside to cool and thicken.
3. Pour cooled syrup over fruit. Toss gently with a soft spatula to coat. Chill for 30 minutes.
Serve in dessert bowls or large wine glasses, with a dollop of whipped cream on top.
Makes 4 servings. Each serving = 1 Weight Watchers point.
