Ingredients

  • Tools:
  • 3 cups brown sugar (dark or light)
  • 1 can 2% evaporated milk (about 241 mL)
  • 1/2 lb. butter (1 cup - half a block)
  • 2 cups of icing sugar
  • Pot
  • spoon
  • flour sifter or sieve

Preparation

Step 1

In a large pot, bring brown sugar, butter and milk to a boil (limit the amount of stirring) Once boiling, let cook only 5 min.

Take pot off stove.

Incorporate the icing sugar (small portions) thru sifter until thick.

Put mixture in buttered or sprayed pan. Put wax paper directly on top of fudge and put in fridge.
