Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 can cherry pie filling
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
Step 1
Cream together 1 cup sugar and oil. Add eggs, vanilla, flour, and baking powder. In a small bowl combine 3/4 cup sugar and cinnamon. Place half the batter in a 9/x 13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle half the sugar and cinnamon mixture over batter. Spread the pie filling over all. Cover remaining batter and then the rest of the topping mixture. Bake at 325 degrees for 50 minutes.
