Ingredients
- 1 1/2 - 2 pints strawberries
- 1 c water
- 1 c sugar
- 1 T karo
- 2 T cornstarch
- 3 T strawberry jello
- 1 8 inch pie shell
- Cool Whip

Preparation
Step 1
Combine water, sugar, syrup and cornstarch in a saucepan. Cook over low heat until thick. Add Jello, stirring to dissolve. Allow mixture to cool, pour 1/2 cooled mixture into baked pie shell, add stawberries and pour remaining cooled mixture. Top with Cool Whip. Refrigerate 1 hour before serving.
